The A.J. Antunes 8742020074 Limit Control monitors temperature in HVAC systems. There are two temperatures that are preset, during installation, that cause this part to be activated. The fan will turn on, when the temperature reaches the preset amount, between 80 and 120 degrees. Then if the temperature gets too high, between 150 and 235 degrees, then the system will turn off. Both the fan, turning on, and the system shutting down, because the temperature is too high, is controlled by a relay.
The fan and the high temperature limit are essential to keeping the equipment safe from breaking down.
