Condair Cylinder Maintenance
Condair cylinders should be replaced every 4-6 months. Facilities that have hard water will find that cylinders experience mineral buildup faster, so they may require more frequent replacement. High-use facilities will also need to replace their cylinders more often. The humidifier system will alert you to the cylinder’s required replacement three days before it stops working. Condair cylinders are made of inert plastic, and because used cylinders only contain water-borne minerals, their disposal problems are minimal. It is not advised that you perform any descaling on the cylinder and attempt to reuse it. Cylinders are not designed for this usage, and harsh chemicals can damage the electrodes on the cylinder or other components of the humidifier.
